Radiant heat works like the sun. Instead of heating the air around you, it heats people and objects. This makes radiant heat a more effective outdoor heating source, as it is less likely to be affected by the wind.
Are the heaters waterproof?
Our Platinum Electric Marine heaters are made from premium 314 stainless steel and IPX5 rated, and therefore water-resistant (low pressure water jets). However, Bromic does recommend that they are best mounted under cover and not directly exposed to rain and salt mist to ensure they maintain their aesthetic appeal.
What mounting options are available?
The heaters can be either wall mounted, pole mounted or recessed into the ceiling. Each heater is supplied with a 200mm stainless steel pole. Recessing kits and longer poles for high ceilings can be ordered separately. Please refer to our instruction manual or contact our friendly design team to find out which installation and height is right for you.
